1. The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and the people who operate Türkmen biz. By using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

We have tried to write this in plain language. Nothing here is designed to catch you out, and if a clause reads as though it is, tell us and we will look at it again.

2. Joining, and who gets in

Türkmen biz is invite-only. You need an invitation from an existing member, and a profile you create is reviewed before it becomes visible.

We can decline an application. We do not owe you a detailed explanation for a decision, though we will usually give one, and you can ask us to look again.

Your account is yours alone. Do not share it, and do not create a profile that pretends to be somebody else.

3. What we expect from you

The short version: be a person other members are glad to have here.

  • Be truthful about who you are and what you have done.
  • Do not harass, threaten, demean or stalk anyone.
  • Do not post content that is unlawful, hateful, or that targets people for who they are.
  • Do not post other people's private information, and do not upload things you have no right to share.
  • Do not use the service to spam, to scrape, to advertise at people who did not ask, or to recruit for anything deceptive.
  • Do not attack the service itself, or try to reach data that is not yours.

Invitations are a matter of trust. When you invite someone you are vouching for them, and their name appears alongside yours as the person who brought them in. Invite people you would introduce in person.

4. What you post stays yours

You own what you write and upload. We do not claim it, we do not sell it, and we will not license it to anyone else.

You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, and to display it to the people your settings allow, including publicly if your profile is public. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, other than where the deletion consequences described in the Privacy Policy apply.

You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

5. Reporting, moderation and suspension

Any member can report a profile, a post or a message. Reports go to us, and we read them.

If someone breaks these terms we may remove content, restrict what an account can do, suspend it, or remove it entirely. For anything serious, or anything unlawful, we will act without waiting.

We are a small team, not a court. We aim to be fair and quick rather than procedural, and we will tell you what happened and why when we act on your account. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and say so.

6. Limits and fair use

The service applies limits on how often certain things can be done, how many invitations you can send, how much text a field holds, and how large a file can be. They exist to keep the service usable and to make abuse expensive, and they may change without notice.

Do not work around them, and do not automate access to the service without asking us first.

7. Availability, and what we do not promise

Türkmen biz is free to use. There is nothing to buy, no subscription, and no advertising.

Because of that, we offer it as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that it will never lose data, or that it will be free of faults. We take backups and we take care, but you should keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. Settings has a data export for exactly that.

We may change features, and we may stop offering the service. If we ever shut it down, we will give members reasonable notice and a way to take their data with them.

8. Responsibility

We are responsible for our own serious failures, and nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live, including consumer rights.

Beyond that, we are not responsible for what other members do or say, for what you do because of something you read here, or for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen. This is a place for people to meet each other; the judgement about who to trust remains yours.

9. Ending your membership

You can leave whenever you like, from Settings. Read the deletion section of the Privacy Policy first, because deleting an account also removes some things other members can see, and that cannot be undone.

We may end your membership if you break these terms, or if we stop running the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and we will tell members about anything significant rather than editing quietly.

If you keep using the service after a change, that is your acceptance of it. If you do not accept it, you can close your account.

Anything unclear here, or anything you think is unfair, goes to allamyrat@turkmen.biz. We would rather fix a term than defend a bad one.
